Jim Palmer
President of DTC
Jim Palmer is the President of Senior Healthcare Direct. Jim is responsible for the strategy and oversight at Senior Healthcare Direct, which specializes in direct-to-consumer insurance solutions. Senior Healthcare Direct is Amerilife’s direct-to-consumer division and one of the fastest-growing companies in the industry.
Jim joined Senior Healthcare Direct in 2021 and brings more than 20 years of insurance industry experience to AmeriLife. He most recently served in progressively senior roles at TRANZACT, where he spent more than a decade with P&L responsibility, building and leading several lines of business across TRANZACT’s life and health insurance portfolios. Prior to TRANZACT, Palmer served as a director at Carroll Enterprises, Inc., leading the company’s life insurance business focused on direct-to-consumer sales.
Jim is located in Dublin, Ohio, and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Ohio University. Jim is married to his wife Renee, and they have 3 children: Kara, Morgan and Brady.
