Carolyn Walker is a strategic training consultant, the founder, President & CEO of TDP, LLC (tdp), a training development, and project management company established in 2002, and the spin off the tdp Consulting Group.  She has delivered award-wining training and performance programs to improve competency of human capital.

Ms. Walker established tdp following a successful career and rise through the ranks of Fortune 50 companies, where she held key leadership positions in Xerox Corporation and the Digital Equipment Corporation, as well as its reorganized corporate brand, Global Knowledge Network.

After spending years in the corporate sector, Ms. Walker responded to her desire to be of greater service to her community, which lead to the creation and ownership of her first business in 1999, Vision Industries, a 501(c) 3 corporation focused on career training, and workforce readiness for the under and unemployed.

Ms. Walker is the recipient of a 2012 Washington Business Journal: Women Who Mean Business Award, a nominee of a 2011 Most Powerful Women Entrepreneurs Awards Program, a graduate of the 2010 Leadership Greater Washington program, and also received the Digital Quality Excellence and Digital New Business Award during her time with that company.

Ms. Walker believes strongly in giving back to her community and has volunteered her time to support the Prince George’s County Community Foundation as an Ambassador, participated in the Urban Alliance, a youth development intern program for high school students, served on the Board of Directors for The Gladys Spellman Specialty Hospital Nursing Center and completed a tenure on the Prince George’s County Hospital

Center Foundation Board of Directors, and on the Board of Directors for Evergreen Health Services, a provider of new and innovative approaches to delivering health services.

Ms. Walker is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo with a degree in Business Management. She is certified in Presentation Skills, Train the Trainer, Negotiation Skills, Career Transition, Time Management, and Consultative Selling.
